Abstract

Diarrhea is one of the main causes of morbidity and mortality in children around the world, which causes one billion cases of illness and 3-5 million deaths each year. This diarrheal disease is experienced by many children in growing countries, aged 0-3 years. The purpose of this study was to provide nursing care for diarrhea sufferers, especially in the provision of Tempe Porridge Diet on the Frequency of BAB in Children with Digestive System Disorders (Diarrhea). Data obtained by interview and direct observation showed that after the intervention of the application of the tempeh porridge diet, there appeared to be a decrease in the frequency of the client's bowel movements. The author hopes that all health services, both doctors, nurses and midwives can further improve the knowledge and quality of human resources as medical services for the community, especially for clients with diarrhea and suggest that communication between medical members should be improved again.
