Abstract
Background: Hypertension is a condition where blood pressure increases. The most common causative factors are cerebrovascular disorders and impaired cerebral function, acute coronary syndrome with ischemia, acute pulmonary edema and acute renal dysfunction. Very high blood pressure causes organ damage and death. Objective: The purpose of this scientific work was to examine the effect of giving 30º head elevation to changes in hemodynamic status in patients with hypertension. The data of this research were taken by using interview method, and physical examination observation. After tabulating the existing data, it was analyzed using explanation analysis and time series. Result: Hemodynamic status improved, with data obtained from 180/100mmHg to 140/90mmHg. Seeing the results of this study, it is necessary to provide 30º head elevation in order to improve hemodynamic status in hypertensive patients. Conclusion: The Effect of Head Elevation Measures on Cerebral Perfusion in Hypertensive Patients.
