Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic disorder caused by many factors characterized by high blood sugar levels as a result of impaired insulin function. Diabetes Mellitus that is not treated immediately will cause various complications, one of which is a wound that is difficult to heal or commonly called a diabetic wound. Many wound care techniques were developed in various hospitals. Wound care today is more likely to use wound care techniques using Moist Wound Healing. The Moist Wound Healing technique provides moisture to the wound. Moist Wound Healing is a wound care technique by maintaining an isolated wound environment that remains moist by using a moisture barrier dressing. The method used in this nursing care is by means of observation, interviews and literature studies. The results of this nursing care show the influence of wound care techniques with moist wound healing dressings on Ny. E with diabetic ulcers. As input and information for nurses, nurses are expected to be able to apply wound care measures with moist wound healing dressing techniques for clients with diabetes mellitus in the process of healing diabetic ulcers.
