Abstract

Nutritional Status Less is malnutrition caused by ene low consumptionrgi of protein daily melas and occur in quite a long time. Nutritional problems are widely caused by the effects of inequality between acceptance and output of supplement results. Application parenting education method is a way to provide understanding parents regarding malnutrition in children. The purpose of this scientific paper is to knowing the level of knowledge of parents on the nutritional status of preschool age children in the working area of the Selajambe District Health Center Sukabumi. This scientific paper uses the case study method with providing health education through flip chart media. technique data collection by interview, observation. Research results for 5 today shows the results that the understanding of parents who have children with less nutritional status experienced an increase in knowledge about malnutrition in children. In this scientific paper, the results of research proved that the method of providing parenting education and Health education is one of the effective methods to overcome the level of parental knowledge of the nutritional status of undernourished children preschool (3-6 years) in the working area of the district health center Selajambe Sukabumi, West Java Province.
