Abstract

Hallucinations are sensory perceptual disturbances in the five senses that actually do not exist and are not real. The purpose of this case study is to apply psychoreligious therapy: dhikr to the ability to control auditory hallucinations. The method in this scientific paper is a case study with the provision of psychoreligious therapy: dhikr. Data collection techniques were carried out by interviews, observation and literature/documentation studies. The results of the intervention show that the client can control hallucinations after being given psychoreligious therapy: dhikr. It can be concluded that the provision of psychoreligious therapy: dhikr affects the ability to control auditory hallucinations. The conclusion of this paper is that giving psychoreligious therapy: dhikr can improve the ability to control hallucinations. Psychoreligious therapy: dhikr is effective in increasing the ability to control hallucinations and this therapy can be an alternative for someone who has impaired sensory perception of auditory hallucinations which often disturbs them.
