Abstract
The number of people with mental disorders in Indonesia currently is 236 million people, with mild and severe mental disorders categories. Mental nursing problems that may arise in mental health are sensory perception disorders: visual hallucinations, risk of violent behavior, social isolation, and low self-esteem. This scientific paper was created to describe real experiences in applying conversational therapy to clients directly. Visual hallucinations are a sensory perception disorder in the absence of a stimulus and are false sensations that occur with the five senses, where the client sees images that appear erratically. The results of the data obtained during the assessment of Mr. A shows 4 mental nursing problems, including sensory perception disorders: visual hallucinations, risk of violent behavior, social isolation, and low self-esteem, but the author focuses on the problem of hallucinations. The action that will be taken to the client is to practice conversational therapy with other people. The author concludes that the given action has been achieved where the client is able to converse with others to control his hallucinations.
