Abstract

The development of technology and innovation in the world of construction today is very rapid with the birth of various kinds of innovations and new technologies being developed, these innovations are not only in various types of materials and equipment with better quality and productivity, but also in methods of carrying out work in the field, such as Likewise in formwork work, various kinds of materials are developed as well as the method of implementation. For this reason, it is necessary to have a comparative analysis of the type of material, method and the effectiveness and efficiency of the method to be used. One of the main structural works in an elevated road project is slab work. In addition to the conventional formwork method that is commonly applied to casting in the field, other formwork innovations were also developed such as the use of a traveler for the transfer process in order to get more effective and efficient results. from the analysis of the unit price multiplied by the volume of work for the floor slab (slab), the duration of time and work productivity is obtained from the calculation of the execution time in one work cycle with the same span. Analysis of the cost of slab casting on the Jakarta-Cikampek II Elevated toll road project using the moving formwork by traveler method is 5.54% more efficient than using the conventional formwork method, the total cost of work in a 7-time cycle using the moving formwork by traveler method is Rp. 2,764,000,000.00, while using the conventional method the amount of Rp. 2,926,100,000.00. In terms of the duration of implementation, the moving formwork by traveler method is 9 days faster than the conventional formwork method. The casting method with moving formwork by traveler is one of the better innovations in terms of cost effectiveness and execution time efficiency, in addition to better safety and high investment value.
