Abstract

This study aims to determine how the influence of capital structure on company value at PT Astra International Tbk. In this research the method used is descriptive associative method. The data used in this study is secondary data obtained from financial statements of PT Astra International Tbk year 2013-2017. Statistical analysis used was descriptive statistical analysis, pearson correlation analysis, determination coefficient, simple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis t test with computer help using IBM SPSS Statistics 20 program. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that the capital structure significantly affect company value at PT Astra International Tbk. The direction of influence marked positive indicates that the better the capital structure (DER) of a company then the higher the value of the company. The capital structure gives 77,3% influence to change of company value at PT Astra International Tbk. While the rest that is equal to 22,7% influenced by other factors not observed in this research.
