Abstract

Sukabumi Regency is one of the areas in Jawabarat Province that has a rapid development, so it needs supporting facilities to serve social, economic, environmental, and cultural needs. Sukabumi Regency Office Building Development Project is a project that has a function as a supporting social facility. At the site of the project, there are differences in elevation that form the slopes so that it requires recommendations on the appropriate structural methods of prevention and slope management His study aims to find out the number of safety factors of gravity-type ground retaining walls with block segmental type using PLAXIS 2D Software. Data taken directly using sondir test. The results of this study indicate that the slope stability using a gravity-type retaining wall has the highest safety factor (1.680), but has the highest Total Displacement figure, which is 39.42. Whereas slopes with the use of segmental block type retaining walls have a safety factor (Safety Factor) of Sf = 1.487 x 10-3 This value is smaller than the value of the safety factor in the gravity-type wall, but has the lowest Total Displacement, which is 15.15 x 10-3. The safety factor can be defined as the maximum shear strength ratio of soil in landslide areas. The total displacement of colored shade indicates a sloped area that has the potential to experience displacement. Total displacement is a colored shading that shows the area of the slope that has the potential to experience displacement.
