Abstract
Analysis principal’s academic supervision teacher’s ability to prepare lesson plans in Ciangsana Public Elemntary School Abstract: This study aims to determine the description of academic supervision carried out by the principal at SD Negeri Ciangsana as well as an analysis of the teacher's ability to compile a lesson plan (RPP) as an illustration of the extent of the success of the implementation of academic supervision. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. This research was conducted at SD Negeri Ciangsana, and the subject of this study was the principal of SD Negeri Ciangsana. Data collection techniques are carried out through interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through reduction, presentation and conclusion. The data validity technique is done by triangulation using several techniques, namely interviews, observation and documentation and increasing persistence so that researchers can see where the deficiencies need to be fixed. The results showed that: a) Academic supervision carried out at SD Negeri Ciangsana was in good perception, namely running based on the program plan that had been compiled. b) The ability of Ciangsana State Elementary School teachers in preparing the lesson plan is in the good category, which is at a score above 80, even though each teacher gets a different score. This is caused by several factors.
