Abstract

Yayu Yulistian (1530621023) Universiatas Muhammadiyah Sukabumi, Effects of Cash Turnover and Accounts Receivable Turnover on Profitability in Food and Beverage Sub Sector Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. (Thesis Advisor Ade Sudarma, S.E., M.M and Gatot Wahyu Nugroho, M, .Ak., CA). This study aims to determine the effect of cash turnover and accounts receivable turnover on profitability (ROA) in food and beverage sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2014-2018 period. The independent variables used in this study are Cash Turnover (X1) and Accounts Receivable Turnover (X2). For the dependent variable used in this study is profitability. The type of method used in this study is descriptive and associative based on the type of quantitative research data. The population of this research is the annual financial statements of food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2014- 2018 period. A total of 7 companies based on criteria have been taken as many as 35 financial statements. The sampling technique used is Porposive sampling technique. The collection technique used in this study is secondary data. The analysis techniques used in this study are the classic asumi test, multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Cash turnover partially has a significant effect on profitability, it can be seen from the results of the statistical t test for the variable cash turnover of 0.027 0.05. (3) Simultaneous Cash Turnover and Receivable Turnover has a significant effect on profitability. It can be seen from the statistical F Test results for the variable Cash Turnover and Receivable Turnover towards Profitability of 0.005 <0.05
