Abstract

Title of this research is “Ekpresi Emosi Tokoh Utama Dalam Novel The Giver Karya Lois Lowry”. This research was attempted in purpose to know the disappearance of every psychologic aspect of main character in The Giver novel. The implemented method in this very research is qualitative descriptive with approachment of emotional expression. Based on the result of the research itself, there is several emotional expression that exibhited by the main character. Based on the result of the research, the research can pinpoint that general emotional expression aspect of main character at The Giver Novel is shown many kind of variable. Such as facial expression, vocal expression, fisiological trasformation, emotioal action etc. This matter reflected in the main portion of main charater daily life at The Giver novel. As memories and community has given their contribution toward the development of main character personality, because of problem that they are fsacing,and the result is a grand development of main character personality.
