Abstract

This research is entitled The Crime of Arthas Figures in the novel World of Warcraft Arthas: Rise of the Lich King by Christie Golden. The purpose of this study is to describe the character of Arthas and the crimes contained in the plot of the novel World of Warcraft Arthas: Rise of the Lich King by Christie Golden. This study used descriptive qualitative method. This study uses a literary psychology approach to explain the nature and elements of crime in the novel. The results of this study were three aspects related to the character, namely character, psyche, and social. The author also found several types of traits such as sympathy, disappointment, caring, friendly, cunning, trustworthy, proud, romantic, disobedient, and betrayer. Then the author also finds a description of the crime contained in the plot such as exposition, complications, crisis, climax, and resolution.
