Abstract

The research is entitled Pesan Moral Melalui Keluarga Disfungsional dalam Novel Summer Cannibals Karya Malanie Hobson. The purposes of the research are to describe the description of dysfuncional family through behavior of characters and moral message of novel summer cannibals by Melanie Hobson. The method used in the research is descriptive qualitative method by using moral approach. The results of the research are the problems of disfunctional family to Blackford family such us poor marriage, poor parent-child relationship,high tension and low warmth, personality or psycological disorder, and the moral message through the problems.
