Abstract

The problem of inventory of goods in a shop is very influential on the convenience of consumers who want to shop. When consumers find the desired item and it turns out that the stock in the store has run out, of course it will make consumers feel disappointed. This is the basis for the need for an application to overcome the problems being faced by photocopy shop owner in dealing with which items are sold and which items are not selling well. Therefore we utilize sales transaction data to determine the stock of goods. The application of Apriori Algorithm in this design is a system used to determine the best choice of several available alternatives, because the a priori algorithm will form as many itemset frequencies as predetermined based on two parameters namely support and confidence. So that it will be known which items are often sold or sold well and which items are not sold. Then the results of the a priori algorithm store process can determine the sales strategy including placing goods in the store, and providing more stock of goods that are related to each other so that the future will be better organized.
