Abstract

In raising chickens, breeders and the community often face various diseases that attack chickens. The attack of the disease is seen through the physical symptoms that appear in chickens. If certain actions are not given immediately to overcome it, it can be bad for the chicken itself. One of the factors of low development and productivity of chickens is due to the lack of knowledge and information that breeders and the public have about diseases that attack chickens and how to deal with them. Time limitations and the lack of experts are the next obstacles when breeders and the public want to use the services of experts in the field of chicken breeding. To solve this problem, we need a system that can help the parties involved in raising chickens by applying a method that can adopt expert knowledge into the computer so that the computer can solve problems like an expert. For the inference method used by the author in expert systems is Forward Chaining. Forward Chaining, which is a reasoning that starts from facts to get a conclusion from that fact. With the application, it is hoped that it can help people to find out what diseases attack their chickens by looking at the symptoms.
