Abstract
This study aims to describe the improvement of storytelling skills through the application of series drawing media and the application of series drawing media to help improve students' storytelling skills in low grades. The research method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a research design using the Kemmis and Mc Taggart models conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementing, acting and observing, and reflecting. Participants in this study were grade III students of Pakujajar CBM Sukabumi City with 32 students, consisting of 15 male students and 17 female students. Data collection techniques in this study used tests in the form of pretest and posttest. While non-test techniques in the form of observation, field notes and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative. In the pre-cycle through the story skills indicator test showed completeness of 16% or 5 students who completed the KKM school that is 70, the remaining 27 students or 84% were incomplete then increased in cycle I gained 53% or 17 students who had completed 47% or 15 students did not complete. And in the second cycle increased by 87% or 28 students who had completed, while 13% or 4 students did not complete. This CAR concluded that students' storytelling skills improved through the application of series drawing media.
