Abstract

This research is entitled The Form of John Doe's Protests Against Social Reality in The SEVEN Film by David Fincher. This research aims for knowing and describing the forms of John Doe's protests also messages that he wants to convey in the SEVEN film. The method applied a qualitative-descriptive method and the approach used in this research is of sociology of literature towards the works. The results of this research was found that John Doe did the protests against social reality based on seven deadly sins (gluttony, greed, sloth, lust, pride, envy dan wrath) and the messages he wanted to convey was related to those sins.
