Abstract
The purpose of this research is to analyze and investigate the effect of intellectual capital toward the firm value using free cash flow as moderating variable in manufacturing companies secondary sectors listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2012-2015 period. This research examines the relation of intellectual capital components which is Value Added Capital Employed (VACA), Value Added Human Capital (VAHU), Structural Capital Value Added (STVA), toward the firm value with free cash flow as moderating variable. Firm value is measured using Market to Book Value Equity (MBVE). The sampling method used is the purposive sampling, the samples used in research are 40 manufacturing companies secondary sectors listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2012-2015 period. The research data were tested by using SMART PLS 3.0. The results showed that VACA, VAHU has significant effect on the firm value, while STVA have no significant effect on the firm value. Free cash flow as the moderating variable no significant influence the relation STVA to the firm value.
