Abstract
The incidence of prolonged childbirth is one of the highest contributor cases in Indonesia that occurs in pregnant women before delivery, therefore to save mothers from death, a safer action is done by sectio caesarea. Cases of post sectio caesarea with indications of prolonged labor are very risky for the mother and the fetus to be born and will cause complications. Old Tartus is labor / labor that lasts more than 24 hours at the primi and more than 18 hours at multi. Nursing problems that arise in post sectio caesarean cases with indications of prolonged labor according to the theory are acute pain, nutritional imbalance, ineffectiveness of breastfeeding, impaired urinary elimination, disturbance of sleep patterns, risk of infection, self-care deficit, and constipation. Problems that arise in the field in the case of Mrs. D is acute pain, impaired sleep patterns, risk of infection, and self-care deficits. Planned planning is to increase comfort, prevent infection, clients get effective sleep, and meet clients' daily needs. The implementation is carried out, namely teaching pain management, doing wound care, and helping clients' daily activities.
