Abstract

PT. Barkah Jaya Mandiri Sukabumi is one of local companies engaged in the sector of Automotive and Electrical Component Manufacturing. PT. Berkah Jaya Mandiri also provides automotive needs such as pressing part component spot welding, Co2 welding, arc welding, acetylene welding, engineering work shop, and die making. The research was triggered by the problem identified in terms of decreasing Employee Productivity which was predicted to be caused by Workload and Work Conflict. Therefore, the research was aimed at finding out the impact of Workload (Variable X1) and Work Conflict (Variable X2) towards Employee Productivity (Variable Y). The research methods applied were descriptive and associative. The techniques of collecting data applied were observation, interview, questionnaire, documentation, and literature review. The techniques of analyzing data applied were commenced from preparing data, tabulating data, to testing phase. Based on the data acquired from the analysis result, it shows that the influence of workload variable toward employee productivity is amounted to 0.756. Meanwhile, the influence of work conflict toward employee productivity is amounted to 0.677. Thus, the influence of workload and work conflict towards employee productivity is amounted to 0.925, while the influence cased by other factors out of the research is aggregated to 13.4%. The calculation result of Hypothesis Test is F count > F table, which namely is 109.463 > 3.25, so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. It means that there is significant influence between workload and work conflict towards employee productivity. The implication for PT. Berkah Jaya Mandiri Sukabumi Regency is that the company has to fix and improve its employee productivity through factors of employee productivity especially workload and work conflict, and generally other factors outside the research. Therefor, PT. Berkah Jaya Mandiri can fix and improve employee productivity through factors that can influence it.
