Abstract

This Final Project Report was compiled by Camela Nur Madarina with Student Registration Number 1641211012, with the title "COMPARISON OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF PERSONAL TAXES IN INDONESIA AND THAILAND." . The author's background takes the title above because it describes taxation in Indonesia and Thailand so that it can see the level of success and fulfill it. Comparison of Indonesia and Thailand in the upper layers of Indonesia's tariffs that reach 5% -30% and Thailand layer rates reach 0% -35%. The research method used by the author is descriptive method. Descriptive method is a method in discussing the status of a group of humans, an object, a problem, a system of thought, or a class of events in the present. This Final Project Report aims to find out the difference between personal tax in Indonesia and personal income tax in Thailand. The results obtained from this study explain the taxation of individuals in Indonesia which has the same calculation system as taxation in Thailand. Different amounts for the number of tariffs for Layers tax tax rates in Thailand reach 37% while Indonesia 30%. The taxation system in Thailand and Indonesia adheres to a self-assessment system, which is a method that gives large responsibility to taxpayers because all processes in fulfilling tax requirements are carried out by taxpayers themselves.
