Abstract

This research discussed about the problem which was related to the application of learning's model of mind mapping to improve the understanding of students' math concept on KPK and FPB's chapter of students' 5th A grade of SDN 1 cikembar. the type of this research that used was classroom actionsl research (car) using kemmis's approach & mctaggart. the sample of this research was all of the students of 5th A grade of SDN 1 cikembar which was consist of 26 students. This research consist of two cycle which completed with data collection with the result of observation, test and documentation. The result of the understanding of students' math concept on pretest got classical value 43,4 or 41,4 % which was included into good enough's category. On the first cycle got classical value 64,9 or 65% included good enough's category. On the second cycle got classical value 80,5 or 83,5% included into very good's category. The conclusion of this reasearch is that the application of learning's model of mind mapping on KPK and FPB's chapter can improve the understanding of students' math concept at 5th A grade of SDN 1 cikembar.
