Abstract

Studying structure and fable language is one of the activities of students in Indonesian language learning. Often, students face difficulties in studying the structure of language and fables. Therefore, an interesting medium is needed to help and facilitate students in examining the structure of language and fables, so that their abilities increase. The purpose of this study was to determine the ability of students before and after using fable material on disk media. Then, to find out the influence of the media. The data collection technique used is by testing and documentation. This research was conducted in class VII A SMP IT Insan Mandiri by using The One Group Pretest And Posttest Design. Based on the results of data analysis, the results obtained increased from the ability of students with the average pretest value of 54.81 and 87.22 at the posttest average value. In addition, the result of tcount (t = 6.23) is greater than ttable (t = 2.052). based on the results of these studies, it can be concluded that the use of fable material on disk media is very helpful for students, thus affecting their ability to study structure and fable language.
