Abstract
This research is motivated by drama as one of the learning materials contained in the 2013 Curriculum syllabus for SMP / MTs. The formulation of the problem in this study is 1) What is the intrinsic element of Rahwana's work by Abdul Mukhid? 2) Can the results of the analysis of Rahwana's drama by Abdul Mukhid be used as learning material for Class VIII Students of SMP Negeri 4 Sukabumi City 2018/2019 Academic Year ?. This study aims to determine the analysis of the intrinsic elements of Abdul Mukhid's drama Ravana as learning material. The method used in this research is the leather method using the technique of collecting data on observations, tests, questionnaires and documentation. Based on the results of the research conducted by the author, it can be concluded that the drama Rahwana by Abdul Mukhid can be used as learning material in schools while still referring to the curriculum and syllabus that applies in the school. This can be seen based on the data the authors collected in the form of observations that the author did, tests that showed more than 50% of students could analyze the drama's intrinsic elements that have been selected and the results of the student response questionnaire that showed all students gave a positive response.
