Abstract
This study is about the use of Indonesian, Arabic, and English word classes in teaching materials in class VIII of MTs Al-Ma’tuq. Aim to find out the use of Indonesian, Arabic, and English word classes in teaching materials for learning in the realm of bilingual-based Islamic boarding schools. To find out learning about word classes and their use in Islamic boarding schools that communicate using Arabic and English according to research data. The method used in this study is qualitative and uses the data triangulation method, and the research subject is the teacher of each subject. The results of the study obtained in the language rules of printed teaching materials are five Indonesian word classes along with the types of each class, namely: there are personal pronouns, pointer pronouns, questioners pronouns, single prepositions, verbs in terms of semantic behavior and syntactic behavior which includes transitive verbs , ekatransitive verbs, transitive verbs, adjectives which include derivative adjectives, idioms classified as adjectives, compound adjectives, and coordinative conjunctions. Then there are two classes of words in Arabic teaching materials namely verb / fi'il and particles / harf. Then there is one class of words in English language verb teaching material which is used to express past simple sentences simple past tense and in the sentence being carried out Present continuous tense.
