Abstract

The problem in this research is students showed not achieving good learning outcomes in athletic learning specifically sprint numbers. This research aims to determine there or not there influence of traditional games on the result of learning to sprint on students class VIII at SMP Negeri 7 Sukabumi City Academic 2019/2020. The type of research used is experiments. Design in this research is one group pretest-posttest. The selection of samples technique used in this research is a purposive. Samples in this research amounted 27 students. The instruments used are tests and measurements of a sprint, which is to find out the result of learning a sprint. Data analysis technique used is normality test, homogeneity test, hypothesis test (T-test). Based on research and data analysis results, shows the influence of traditional games on the results of learning to sprint on the students calss VIII at SMP Negeri 7 Sukabumi City academic 2019/2020. This is evidenced by t-count of 5,045 > t-table 2,060 at the real level (∝) 0,05. Thus, Ho is accepted and Ha rejected. The conclusion of this research is “there is a significant influence of traditional games on the results of learning to sprint on the students calss VIII at SMP Negeri 7 Sukabumi City academic 2019/2020”.
