Abstract

The objective of this research is to describe enhancement of critical thinking skills through application of experiential learning approach in Science learning for elementary school students. The research methodology that applied is PTK by Kemmis and McTaggart model. The subject of this research is 30 students of 5.3 class in SDN Cipanengah CBM Kota Sukabumi. The research’s data obtained throught test, observation, interview, field note, and documentation. This research was done in two cycles with indicators of achievement based on KKM grade of science learning that is 75. The result of this research showed that from twp cycle obtained as follows: in the first cycle obtains completeness of 41,81% then in the second cycle obtains completeness of 100%. Based on the result of the first and second cycles obtain enhancement as much as 53,4%. It can be concluded that application of experiential learning approach in Science learning can improve students’ critical thinking skills at 5.3 class grade in SDN Cipanengah CBM Kota Sukabumi 2017/2018 school year.
