Abstract

With the used of short message service facility on the phone the user can make short messaging with so easy to exchange information without limitation of distance and time because it does not require internet connection. But at this time, still the occurrence of breaking short messaging service by irresponsible party. To overcome and minimize the problem, then required a security system using the method enhancements to the mobile phone capable of maintaining the integrity and security of the message content. The method in question is cryptograhy, which is an art and a scientific field in encoding information to stay safe. In this final project the researcher made a security application for brief message as additional security system. Methods on the application are created using RSA cryptographic algorithms, since no formal method has been founded for breaking RSA efficiently so it can provide security in the exchange of data. From the results of this study the application can function in accordance the destination by successfully sending encryption messages are complicated and unreadable, and the application also successfully opening messages which have encrypted using this application with the common key than equivalen with private key receiver. Besides that, the security used in this accsess for incoming messages application on android are save and savety and not random person who can access the application on the android.
