Abstract

Food insecurity that occurred in Indonesia has become a national issue, PT. Indonesian agriculture can provide a great help to support the national economic development and development program. Rice is a food commodity and most of the people of Indonesia. The recent food self-sufficiency of rice is a basic necessity that can soon reach for the Indonesian economy to grow and develop properly. Conserving rice self-sufficiency is a national commitment that must be realized from time to time, to achieve self-sufficiency in rice, it is necessary to improve and develop technical irrigation agricultural land. Agricultural land that has facilities for rice cultivation has led to a change of function into industrial land and settlements The purpose of this research is to determine the fulfillment of planting area of Cikanteh area so that the irrigation area (IP) index is increased and to make efficient and efficient of available water discharge. The result of this research is Cikanteh irrigation area with 752 ha with RTTG calculation in planting season 1 is planned to plant all 752 ha of rice, planting season 2 is planned to plant 500 ha and palawija 252 ha, while in planting season 3 is planned to plant 100 ha of the remaining palawija 652 ha fallow (not planted) so from this research the Cikanteh irrigation plant (IP) index increased
