Abstract

ANALYSIS OF DAMAGE TO THE RIGHT PRIMARY IRRIGATION CHANNEL TO THE RELIABILITY OF WATER DISCHARGE (CASE STUDY IN CIKAHURIPAN IRRIGATION AREA). Farida Azzahra 1930111026 The right primary canal in Cikahuripan irrigation area irrigates an agricultural area of 354 ha with a channel length of 3.6 km, through damage along the canal resulting in non-optimal irrigation conditions, which can cause significant water loss. The purpose of this research is to know the type and cause of the damage, to know the extent of the influence of the damage to the water discharge, and to know how to analyze damage to irrigation canals as a basis for operation and maintenance. This type of research was carried out using a survey method in the field based on the Regulation of the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Number 12/PRT/M/2015 concerning the exploitation and maintenance of irrigation networks which explains the Damaged Conditions of Irrigation Networks while for water discharge using SNI 8066-2015 Procedure for measuring open channel discharge using a current meter. The results showed that the Cikahuripan Right Primary Irrigation Channel suffered 55% light damage, 27% moderate damage, and 9% severe damage. Whereas the buildings in the carrier channel are divided into control buildings and auxiliary buildings, the control buildings have 56% light damage and 25% moderate damage, while the auxiliary buildings have 57% light damage, 9% moderate damage, and 4% heavy damage. Light types of damage are caused by chipped plaster/casting, cracks, and holes.
