Abstract
REVIEW OF THE DESIGN OF THE CIMULEK IRIGATION AREA DAM (Case Study of Cimulek Irrigation Area Dam, Caringinnunggal Village, Waluran Subdistrict, Sukabumi Regency). Cimulek Irrigation Area experienced some damage and problems, one of which is seepage. The purpose of this research is to know the existing condition of the Cimulek Irrigation area weir, to know the design of the weir whether it is still safe and stable against the forces at work, and to redesign the Cimulek Irrigation Area weir if the existing does not meet the stability requirements. The research method is to calculate the forces acting after the calculation, then control the stability of the weir against normal water conditions of earthquake and without earthquake as well as against flood conditions of earthquake and without earthquake, namely shear, overturning, piping, eccentricity, and soil bearing capacity. After calculating the existing conditions, it does not meet the length of termite against the bligh and lane methods, namely the length of termite (Lr) in the bligh method 8.81 < 11 and the length of termite (Lr) in the lane method 6.65 < 8.8. There is no redesign but there is a need for floor repairs in the udik section of the weir.
