Abstract

This study focused its discussion on the correlation of meaning. The aim is to find out the meaning of Indonesian that is good and right with qaulan ma’rufa and qaulan sadida. The type of research method used is qualitative focused on describing the results. In the research process, the four terms refer to theories about the meaning of words that are adjusted in the rules of language, as stated in the KBBI. Then the second reference as a liaison for this research is the books of the Koran commentaries that have been written by famous commentators, such as Tafsir Ibn Kathir. Good Indonesian is interpreted as the language spoken according to its place. The correct Indonesian is the Indonesian language that follows the rules of language, namely PUEBI and KBBI. Qaulan ma'rufa as one of the principles of politeness in language in the perspective of the Koran contains the meaning of good speech and does not hurt someone. And qaulan sadida interpreted as true speech in accordance with the Koran or Hadith. Good and correct Indonesian with qaulan ma'rufa and qaulan sadida can be realized with examples of simple conversations that are normally carried out by two or more people in their daily lives, such as greeting and questionand-answer forms of conversation. This is the result of a study of the correlation between the two that can be seen after examining the meaning independently.
