Abstract
TEST OF BAMBOO LAMINATION BEAM CHARACTERISTICS (CASE STUDY OF BAMBOO LAMINATION FACTORY PT. INDONESIA HIJAU PAPAN CISOLOK WEST JAWA). Ima Nurmalasari. 1630111037. PT. Indonesia Hijau Papan produces laminated bamboo beam elements. Bamboo laminated block is a product made from several bamboo strips that are glued together in parallel fiber directions. The gluing is done to the width (horizontal) and to the thick (vertical). The results of the gluing can be in the form of boards or blocks depending on the thickness and width. At PT. Indonesia Hijau Papan has no testing on, the production of laminated bamboo blocks is good for testing tensile strength, compressive strength and flexural strength. So it is necessary to test the laminated bamboo beam, the test is limited to knowing the strength value of the laminated production block. The test results show that the laminated bamboo beam has the greatest flexural strength value, namely 830.66 Kgf / cm2 , the lowest value is 732.09 Kgf /cm2 and has an average value of 778.83 Kgf/cm2 . Whereas for compressive strength has the greatest value of 681.43 Kgf/cm2 , the lowest compressive strength value is 599.12 Kgf/cm2 and has an average compressive strength value of 637.52 Kgf/ cm2 . Classification of laminated bamboo beams is classified as class II wood.
