Abstract

Games are one of the entertainment facilities that are in great demand, both children and adults. The development of information technology is increasingly inevitable because the development of increasingly advanced times and the development of games lately is increasingly rapid. The game that will be created will take the title "Save World" where players will play the character of a hero who will save the earth. Where the story in this game the earth is under the authority of the monsters that surround every corner of the earth. The purpose of this research is how to apply the Finite State Machine algorithm to the enemy so that the enemy has artificial intelligence to make decisions in the game. In this study, the authors used the Multimedia Development Lyfe Cycle method for the stages of making games and the application of algorithms in the game using the Finite State Machine. The results of this study are to test the algorithm applied to the enemy so that the enemy has action and because there is learning material in it, this game can be a visual medium in recognizing and studying the arrangement of the planet Earth's layers for students and the community.
