Abstract

The title of this research is "The Implementation of Policy of Boarding House or Rent House Management in Sukabumi City." This implementation looks at Regional Regulation No. 8 of 2017, concerning the Arrangement of Boarding Houses and Rented Houses in the City of Sukabumi. This research was conducted because it was still not optimal in implementing policies on structuring boarding houses or rented houses in the City of Sukabumi. Researchers use the theory of public policy implementation according to Van Metter & Van Horn. The research objective is to study the implementation of the policy and what factors support and support its implementation. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. Data obtained through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study. Validity data testing procedure with source triangulation and time triangulation. The number of payment informants is 5 people. From the research it was concluded that the implementation of the policy on structuring boarding houses or rented houses in the City of Sukabumi (Case Study of the District of Cikole) had been going well when seen from the resources, characteristics of the implementing agencies, and the release / disposition of the implementers. However, in terms of size and policy objectives, communication between organizations and implementing activities as well as the economic, social and political environment has not gone well. This is what drives the success of the implementation of policies on structuring boarding houses or rented houses in the City of Sukabumi. In this research, the researcher provides suggestions in researching the implementation of the Policy on the Arrangement of the Social Welfare Organization or Rented House to establish good communication with the implementing parties of other policies both with public policy and service objectives
