Abstract

The title of this research is "The Implementation of Alcoholic Beverage Banning Policy in Sukabumi City". The purpose of this study is to examine the implementation of the policy of prohibiting alcoholic drinks in Sukabumi City recorded in Regional Regulation No.13 of 2015. The research method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach in which the research conducted is descriptive which illustrates the true phenomena of events in the field. Data collection techniques using interview techniques, observation, and documentation related to research. Data analysis techniques in this study using triangulation of sources and triangulation of techniques. This study uses four policy implementation variables from Edwards III including communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. the research it was concluded that efforts to socialize regulations related to the prohibition of consuming alcoholic beverages by the Regional Government have been carried out to the Districts and Sub-Districts, but we can still find shops that sell alcoholic drinks. Because consumers of alcoholic drinks in the City of Sukabumi are still many and do not get bored of consuming alcoholic drinks because of sanctions that are so light. While resources that can be used as important supporters in a policy implementation are considered to be sufficient, both in terms of funding sources and physical facilities, however for rehabilitation facilities it does not yet exist. Every action taken in carrying out its duties has never been separated from Regional Regulations. And in the implementation of the ban on alcoholic drinks in the City of Sukabumi, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) have been implemented, this is always done during the legal operation of the prohibition of alcoholic drinks, as revealed by the informant.
