Abstract

Road paving project in Indonesia is one of the government ways to increase economy in Indonesia and connected location. Mainly risk of the high rainfall in one of those project location, such as embankment work at Sta. 12+100, height were design almost five meter. Hence of that highly embankment landslide almost be occurred at any time and affect to the progress. Sliding are the movements of mass material or soil which almost happen on slope material that sliding down cause to material overweight. There are two type of sliding, rotational slide and translational. Analysis of slope stability using fellinius method and taylor diagram, research data were collect directly from location by SPT and deep boring. Soil sample tested at laboratory to obtain soil’s parameters. Safety factor of the test result using fellinius as is ground water level at 0.55, devoid to water ground level will raised 1.77, and safety factor using diagram taylor 1.37. according to the result assumed that retaining wall shall be raised at that area within slide calculation of safety factor 2.57, slide stability 2.34, and 2.33 for carrying soil stability. To protect slope, drainage trenching shall be constructed. Expectation of this analysis can be used by related agency into consideration for future development project design within effective and efficient factor from quality, time, and expense.
