Abstract

The research was aimed at analyzing as well as determining the influence of capital adequacy toward profit. The research objects were Capital Adequacy Ratio and Return On Asset. The methods applied were descriptive-associative approach analyzed by simple linear regression as well as determination coefficient test and partial test (t test). The result of descriptive analysis shows that CAR and ROA experiences decreased every quarter. Based on the data analysis which is observed from R value amounted to 0,492. It shows medium relation level between CAR and ROA. Based to value of Beta amounted to 0,492 meaning that the influence aggregated is 49,2% while the remaining 50,8% is influenced by other factors. According to partial test CAR (X) influences positively and significantly toward ROA (Y) with tcount is 3,093 and significantly value is 0,004 so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted.
