Abstract

The research was aimed analyzing and determining the influence of Net Income and Debt to Equity Ratio towards Dividend Payout Ratio. The objects of the research were Net Income, Debt to Equity Ratio and Dividend Payout Ratio. The methods applied were descriptive and assosciative. The analysis deployed horizontal method and multiple regression including determination coefficient test, correlation coefficient, simultaneous hypothesis test (F test) and Partial hypothesis test (t test). The results of descriptive analysis shows that Net Income, Debt to Equity Ratio and Dividend Payout Ratio experience fluctuation that tend decrease evey three months. Based on the result of analysis and hypothesis test, it can be concluded that Net Income and Debt to Equity Ratio influence significantly towards Dividend Payout Ratio with its determination coefficient ratio amounted to 0.277 it means that the influence is amounted to 27.8% and remaining 72.2% is influenced by other factors. According to correlation coefficient test observed from R value amounted to 0.527 , it shows that the level of relationship is average between Net Income, Debt to Equity Ratio towards Dividend Payout Ratio. At the significance ratio amounted to 5% (α= 0.05), it is acquired that F debt 5.590 > Ftable 3.33 so that H0 is rejected ad H1 is accepted.
