Abstract
This research aims to develop teaching materials in the form of student Worksheets (LKS) based on a comic strip with guided discovery learning methods of understanding the mathematical concept of high school students. The quality of Students Worksheets (LKS) is reviewed from three aspects: validity, practicality, and effectiveness. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model, which consists of analysis (analysis), design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The validity aspect of the material experts and Media experts assessment with the results of the analysis obtained an average score of 81.791% or in a very valid category. The practicality aspect is seen from the results of the response poll and the teacher as a practitioner with the results of the analysis obtained an average score of 83.772% or in a very practical category. Aspects of effectiveness seen from pretests and posttest that has been done by students. The value of Posttest students was analyzed using a classical completeness test with analysis results gained that as much as 82.143% of students are complete. Seeing an increase between the pretests and Posttest values analyzed using N-Gain analysis with the results of the analysis obtained an average N-Gain score of reached 0.765 or in the high category.
